The Aquatic Toxins Program has been developing education and outreach

Health Departments (CHDs), Florida Fish and Wildlife Research Institute
(FWRI), Mote Marine Laboratory, University of Miami Rosenstiel School of
Marine and Atmospheric Science (UM RSMAS), Green Water Laboratory; and the
Florida Poison Information Centers.
The following documents address public
health impacts from the individual harmful algal bloom organisms and their
associated illnesses and syndromes.
The goal of these materials is to provide harmful algae education to the
citizens of Florida, other interested people, DOH county health department
professionals and health care providers. All of the following documents
are provided as Adobe pdf files for easy and accurate reprinting.
Those pdfs larger than 2MB are also compressed in a zip file and noted
